ROBOTS

PAST

In the PAST you will find a detailed index of every Buffer the Robot I have ever created. This list is ordered and annotated. Each of these Robots are now eligible for cloning unless otherwise indicated as a Limited Edition. This list was conjured up after I had already created well over 100 Robots. I didn't foresee the evolution of this project when I began. I just kept making Buffers and gifting them and selling them along the way. Therefore, I don't know where most of the original Buffers ended up nor did I keep very detailed records for all of them. I do, fortunately however, have photographs of each of them. So, I'm building this list with the data I did collect and I am putting them in order to the best of my memory. My hope is that someday some of these old Buffers might get recognized by their owners and I can update their status.

PRESENT

I'm cranking out new Robots right now! Take a look over my shoulder as I source materials while I design and manufacture Buffer the Robot in my tropical wooden Robot Factory.

FUTURE

Step inside the realm of possibility. Welcome to the FUTURE! Here you will find a glimpse into my imagination for the FUTURE of Buffer the Robot. Included in the Future are blueprints for the next generation of Robots, sketches, and forecasts of brainstorms. Buffer sparks the imagination and I have brought to life the ideas and inspirations of mine and of others. Do you have an idea for Buffer the Robot that you would like to see manifested in the FUTURE? Submit your ideas here and see what we can create together. Let your creative energy flow. There are no wrong ideas in here. The realm of possibility is only bound by our imagination. Fortunately for us imagination is boundless now and in the FUTURE!!

ARCHIVE

One of the best pieces of advice I ever received from an Art teacher was, "Document EVERYTHING!" Take pictures of sketches. Take pictures of your work in progress, beginning to end. You can never have too many pictures of your Artwork. A piece of Art can get old, or lost, or broken. A digital image can last forever. Not only pictures of the finished piece of Art are important. Looking back on pictures of your Art making process is a valuable tool for learning from your past successes and mistakes. Here you will find a complete unedited raw collection of almost every photograph I've taken of every Buffer the Robot. Included in the archive are photographs and videos of behind the scenes footage from the different Robot Factories and all of the shots that were left on the cutting room floor. Bonus! There are a few dinosaurs and astronauts and zombies in here, too!
