IT'S A SIGN FROM THE UNIVERSE

Hey, Hi, Hello!!  I'm Larry.  I've been making Art from the heart professionally for over 15 years from New York to California.  Have you ever had a problem that required a creative solution?  Maybe you've heard somebody say, "Don't worry....I got a guy."  Well, I'm that guy they're talking about.  Let me be your guy, too!  I came to Oahu at the beginning of 2017 and I found community by sharing my Artistic abilities.  I answered a call from a friend to volunteer on a farm in beautiful Waimanalo.  They needed signs made for around their property for an upcoming volunteer event.  I spent a few days designing and cutting wooden letters and hand painting signs while basking in the majesty of the Ko'Olau Mountains.  There was something almost mystical about the feeling I got from wielding my trusty jigsaw and paintbrush while feeling the earth beneath my feet and breathing that lush tropical air.  I have never felt myself or my skills called to an area so strongly like that before! I've been honored with countless opportunities to make Art for other people over the years.  I hold a Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Pennsylvania State University.  I worked for several years in New York as a Display Artist for a major retailer.  I've designed and fabricated signs, props, and Display Art for businesses, restaurants, theaters, festivals, and nightclubs.  I started my first business as an Artist while living amongst the mighty Redwoods near the Lost Coast region of Northern California.  While in California I created "Buffer the Robot," an inspirational educational toy and Social Art Experience that I have shared with people from all around the world.  Since I arrived on Oahu I have been blessed with the opportunity to share Buffer the Robot at the Haleiwa Arts Festival, First Friday events in Honolulu, and at several elementary schools on the island where I've been inspiring children of all ages to think creatively about the future.  Like a force of nature I was drawn by my heart to now live on a farm in the back roads of Waimanalo.  My stellar community is ever growing.  I have a big active Art studio and wood shop. I'm  surrounded by a powerhouse of world-class talented friends and craftsmen who are always willing to help me turn peoples dreams and ideas into real world manifestations.  I locally source as much of the wood and as many of the materials as I can for my projects.  I'm a pro at finding and repurposing old materials to reduce cost and waste.  Over the past two years I have graciously worked with several local businesses, organizations, and events all around Oahu creating professional signs, props, and Display Art.  Nothing would make me happier than being able to share my expertise and passion for creative Artistic solutions with you, your business, and your guests.  It's almost like it's meant to be.  It's a sign from the universe!
